1. Overview 

This plan identifies and controls potential risks associated with operating a shared-use gym within the Hawthorn Malvern Hockey Centre. This plan adheres to Boroondara Council risk management frameworks. 

2. Scope 

Applies to all strength & conditioning sessions, including club training, semi-private coaching, personal training, and group classes.

4. Emergency and Incident Response 

  • Emergency exits remain unobstructed at all times. 

 

  • First Aid kit and AED are available in the clubrooms. 
     

  • Serious incidents are to be reported immediately to HMHC and recorded in the incident register. 
     

  • Emergency services contacted via 000 when required. 

5. Review and Monitoring 

  • Risk Management Plan to be reviewed quarterly or after any incident. 
     

  • Equipment safety checks reported daily. 
     

  • Annual review aligned with MOU renewal cycle.
